About Us

 Rev. Adam Marquette

Hello.  I am Rev. Adam Marquette.  I was born and raised in Stow, Ohio.  Growing up, I experienced God’s love and grace through my church family at the United Presbyterian Church in Cuyahoga Falls, where four generations of my family worshiped together.  It was during this time with this beloved community that I experienced my call to ministry.  The journey began with an undergraduate degree, from the University of Akron in Physical Education (while it didn’t help with Biblical courses, I have relied on my PE degree throughout my time in ministry).  Along the way I met Cecilia and together we have had four beautiful children, Charolette, Bird,  Sadie, and Judson.  After graduating from the University of Akron, I attended Winebrenner Theological Seminary in Findlay, Ohio, while serving as the Director of Youth Ministry at The Bath Church UCC.  In 2007, I graduated from Winebrenner and the realization that God was calling me to the United Church of Christ began.  As the youth and family involvement at the Bath Church grew, so did my role.  In 2009, I was licensed and then ordained in 2011, and served as the Associate Minister for Youth and Family Life until becoming the Senior Pastor at Trinity in 2018.
